My 2012 Writer's Vision Board
The Work Basket
My ‘Writing Vision Board’ for 2012 consists of the following three goals.
I know what I want to achieve in the year to come. I don’t know if it will happen, but at least I know I have the goals and plans set in place to assist me on my journey.
Besides, little Bumpkin will also take priority over these goals. But regardless of what happens, these goals will eventually happen – they just may take a little longer than anticipated.
This is not the busiest writing year I have ever planned, but it will certainly be a chaotic one with a new baby in tow. I’m really looking forward to the challenge.
Bring it on. It’s going to be a hell of an adventure.
I am currently doing the final edits of one of my novels, The Mediterranean Source, with the intention of submitting to publishers early 2012. This one one of those books that has been sitting on my ‘to-do’ list for a very long time, and I have been putting it off. I finished it years ago, and I now feel that it is probably time that I actually put it out there and see what sort of rejection I get.
I'm also wrapping up the second novel of the Talent urban fantasy trilogy – which I expect to finish as soon as possible. For more information on this Trilogy, please visit here. The brief synopsis on these books is still a work in progress, but I hope you will get the general drift.
Also, if you would like to know what else I am working on that seems to be in my ‘on-holds’ basket, then you will find them here. All these books are standard thrillers, and I haven’t yet decided if they are going to cross over into the ‘romantic thriller’ genre yet. They possibly could? But you will just have to wait and see.
